Welcome from the Head Teacher

I hope that you will find all the information that you require about our school on our Website.

Palm Bay School was opened in September 1995 and from that time it has gone from strength to strength.   The school currently consists of 368 children from the ages of 4 to 11.   There are thirteen classes, all of  mixed ability groups.   The children are arranged in classes by age. The school will increase in size in the forthcoming years as our admission number for new Reception children has increased from forty five to sixty and this will feed through the school in subsequent years.

Palm Bay welcomes and values every child at the school and encourages children to fulfil their potential, whether that be academic, through sport or music.

The Parents of children at the school are extremely supportive and the  PTFA holds many fundraising events to help provide  'extra' things for the children.  On average the PTFA raise about £18,000 a year.

The school has enjoyed a number of successful OFSTED inspections, the last being in January 2010.   OFSTED described the school as "a good school that provides outstanding levels of care and support for pupils' health, safety and well being" (OFSTED 2010)

Please feel free to contact the school if you have any questions.
